FFS bro your fingers look like they have been mauled by a baby tiger.
It looks like a check valve to me. Car and model and where it came from?
It's the oil feed to the turbo. It looks like a check valve to me. Car and model and where it came from?
The engine is from a Citroen Xantia but going into my 309
The fitting itself looks like an ordinary DIN style bubble flare fitting. The floating part in it is probably a restrictor to limit the flow of oil to the turbo. These are commonly used to stop the oil supply from over-pressuring the turbo seals. If you're replacing the line I suspect you'll find it can be removed from the old line and inserted in the new one before you assemble the joint.

Good question. No idea why it's showing. Maybe because I did do something fairly straightforward on my car and got to keep my bodily fluids inside myself.
