Bungs for banjos
Discussion
I'm planning to send some calipers off for refurb. I want to block off the brake lines so I don't have the fluid run out over the course of the weeks and months before I refit (it happened to me a few years back, PITA). I'd rather avoid using clamps on the flexis if possible.
I have been able to find bungs/blank bolts that I could screw into the calipers, but I am drawing a blank on a plug for the banjo itself. Anyone found anything that does the job? In theory I suppose I could just put an M10 flanged bolt through with some copper washers and a nut.

Quite literally as you've described. A bolt, nut and a couple of washers. Done !! No need to over think it hehe.I have been able to find bungs/blank bolts that I could screw into the calipers, but I am drawing a blank on a plug for the banjo itself. For those about to jump down my throat, yes I know it isn't a tapered thread & PTFE won't seal it, as I said it may be enough to stop leakage.

Thanks all, I'll do the nut/bolt/washers approach then. Good shout on jamming the brake pedal a bit.
Do the pedal thing and you won't need to faff about with nut bolts washers or ptfe tape. You can also guarantee that wherever I do it, the car will need to be moved at some point
