Eddie Stobart 'Trucks and Trailers' on Channel 5

I spoke to a Stobart driver the other afternoon who said the show is hyped up. Most likely due to the amount of youngsters who enjoy seeing the trucks who tune in to keep them excited i suppose.

And for those who watched the show last night, i can confirm Ashley, the Welsh driver who was featured in the "turf war" with the ever contraverisal Mr Dixon, is a big time petrolhead! He's been posting photos of various motors he's had up on his Facebook page the last few nights. Likes old Vauxhalls and anything with a V8 in it seems, good on him i say!

I had to laugh the other night when the driver carrying the container of wine was reversing into the unload point, and the narrator made it sound like a life or death manoeuvre! Even my missus commented that it's something drivers the world over do everyday.
