I've been up to St Fergus today to the National Grid site, some beautiful views but bloody cold.

DAF, MAN, Scania & Merc heavy haulage wagons - which ones are V8s and which are 6s? MAN discontinued the V8, didn't they?

I'm not sure which engine is in the MAN to be honest.
I'm in the Daf which is a 510, as is the Merc.
Scania is a 450.

Back in my mechanicking days, Mercedes and MAN single cylinder, individual head gaskets we're interchangeable.
Did/do the 2 OEM's share the same design of engine?

Undercover Kent police in an unmarked daf CF pulling idiots on the M25. You've got to be paying no attention to not clock them, they're bobtail with no speed limiter and two up wearing high Viz in the cab hehe

Passed me on the M5 yesterday. I didn't even clock it at first, thought why are these guys staring at me.

They have one up around Warrington way as well, I clocked a unit absolutely flying up on me and wondered what was up then it slowed along side and an officer with a camera pointing at me peering through the window to see what I was up to, I was behaving as always and then he roared off up to the next truck. They had a couple of marked car units behind them I’m assuming to pull people over if needed.
