Something daft like 10000bhp
Think the most I've seen in the UK is 760hp, in a Volvo?

Its a bit different strapping 3 jet engines to your truck than having a proper engine.

No quicker ! Think of the fuel stops.
Love the bloodound .a f1 engine to drive the fuel pump to deliver a bathfull of fuel every second .

It used to go in and out of Thomas Hardy Volvo dealers in Trafford Park a lot. Not sure if it is their truck or not but I used to see it a fair bit when I worked next door.

I see a Kenworth W900 every so often. I think it lives on a local housing estate. It has the stacks, chrome and lights!

Seeing it try and get around a local mini island was the funniest thing I have seen in a while - it sounds great and it could (in some instances) take both lanes of a road. biggrin

It is a welcome sight on our roads in my opinion. yes

Despite what you and other think they're not much bigger than UK trucks, a 6x4 tractor unit is similar size, the US one will be slightly longer but width, weight is pretty much the same.

i know, but as the lenght is the key factor in the uk and europe, it makes them pretty useless for general use.
ok as a show truck, maybe pulling a short tank, or on stgo work.
