Yep he's a truck mechanic, well into engineering in general, industrial revolution, awesome on a bike and also a bit mental... Exhibit A...

I think from memory it is his dads outfit, and has a international transport firm attached. dont forget the sponsorship money he will get.

Sponsorship money from individual deals like Red Torpedo, prize money from road racing/related sponsorship deals/any pay from the team, TV appearances, guest appearances, truck fitting etc, etc.

I remember watching a documentary on him about 18 months ago, really interesting and passionate bloke who loves engineering. IIRC he works for his Dad's company running the workshop, I think its this lot but don't quote me on it; http://www.moodyinternational.co.uk/Home

At the time of the documentary he was living in quite a humble place (I think it was an old barn) and his only extravagance was his Aston Martin - otherwise he seemed to live in overalls!

Aside from his motorbikes he is also an accomplished MTB-er!

IIRC he bought another one. From what i can understand, he used to work for his dad, they fell out and he now runs a workshop for someone else. As to how he affords an Aston Martin, i can't comment on how much he gets, but his Hein Gericke contract is supposedly whopping and he always says he isn't here for a long time, but a good time
