Except the car version is £20 road tax instead of £210 and when I was looking the cars were cheaper to buy than a van and better spec, I was going to take out the back seats and make one into a van but sadly not quite big enough for my service van...
Mine is 2008 and im sure the tax is the same car / van maby newer vans is different.

Spec wise mine is exactly the same as a car i have A/c, Bluetooth, CD Stereo, multifunction etc etc

Some people will require more space but for others a car derived van might be ideal

I just bought another mk2 Caddy yesterday, 2002 TDi, with 140k

It's not pretty, it's got plenty tax and mot, and I need it for tip runs, collecting building materials etc over te next couple of months.

£700. Bargain.

Is there a problem with the battery on Caddys as I keep reading bits saying if you don't use it all the time it goes flat? I have also seen quite a few ads where they have had a new battery fitted recently?

If you've got a cheese shop shouldn't you be looking at a used fridge van? My experience is that caddys are overpriced but I'd have a Berlingo all day long. I've sold them with over 250k on the clock and never had a problem. Conversely I've got a 12 plate caddy in the workshops with some 'issues'

Hmmmm, maybe a little more research is on the cards!

Don't need a chiller van as it's more for displaying at fairs n stuff so coolboxes are fine. I'm not supplying shops or anything with it.

Not true here , I often leave my van for a week or so ,no problems at all.
