Engine Hours

I loaded an 02 Merc Actros (I think) today and the driver said it had 1,026,000 km on it. How many engine hours is that likely to be? I thought about 20,000.

I'm sat in a tractor unit with the lap top hooked up. This truck has done 504548km and the engine operating hours are 9840h 44minutes and 26 seconds. So I reckon you wouldn't be far away with your estimate.

He was back again today. I asked him about the hours but he said it doesn't show them but did say the engine was all original.
