drop bodies. i agree, they don't look it but they are.
seem alot more popular in europe than here in the uk.

spindly legs, uninspiring locking mechanisms, look like a gust of wing would see them collapse

I used to use these in my first driving job, the long gone 'United carriers', as far as I remember they didn't have any issues with them.

I worked for York trailers not long after United went solo, all those knackered sliding pole ackerman turntable drawbars.........yuck
