international drivers, what phone network are you on?

As title, what phone contract are you on? What do you do with it? Its been ten years since I did this work but am starting again after the new year.
I'm on Three at the minute, the one plan, this ends in January, I would like to use the internet a lot so want to keep unlimited data, I want to use my netflix account, check maps, post on pistonheads and watch the odd bit of porn, calls are secondary, any recommendations?

I'm on 3, but its only because it works for me, tbh I only use it for texting and calls. We are quite lucky as at every gig the production crew have their own internet, and we are allowed to use that.
Abit of good news though, more and more places are getting wi-fi all the time. Most truckstops, motorway services and the like seem to have it, so easy enough to park up at the end of the day and skype call home, get on internet etc, porn could be tricky though
If it helps, alot of the lads were on some 3 quid a day tarriff. Iirc it was with vodafone I think.
once they sent or recieved a txt or call on any given day, it cost them 3 quid. But that was then it for the whole day, unlimited txt, calls and I believe data.

Def pays to keep a close eye on it mate 
also, sometimes I found out a good 5 minute phone call worked out cheaper than txts constantly back and forth between 1 person. I used mine a fair bit, and averaged £60-100 a month total bill.

I know you are mainly doing benelux so should be fine, but remember if you ever stray into swiss or non e.u countries, the charges go through the roof.
1 lad forgot this, and over the course of 6 days in russia, managed to clock up £700 worth of charges.

I'm on Voda, do most euro bar Spain/Portugal. They do keep changing the tarrifs & I need to change again as of late seems to be a tad expensive, & I just got charged for data on a euro run last wk, calls can be the expensive bit, texts & data - just forum type data not movies was free but with the calls I do have had a few £150-200 month bills.
Vodafone Eurotraveller is what you were thinking of. I've got it on mine for when holidaying and travelling with work.
£3 a day, but only if you use your phone, and then it just uses your UK allowance. If you don't use your phone then it doesn't cost.

I had Vodafone eurotraveller enabled for one trip, and then switched it off. It's annoying in that it's nearly good.
It will charge you £3 whether you send a single text or use a gigabyte of internet, so it can save you money but sometimes it can cost you a hell of a lot more, I guess you need to weigh up your own usage.

I also have a company mobile that I can use a certain amount and wifi most of the time for iMessages. With the work I do I'm never very far from an internet signal, and if I am I'm usually preoccupied enough not to want to be on the phone.
