Rob
Word on the street is the custom will be avaliable with an autobox very soon - would be interested in one of these in a decent spec (short/low body with a/c, comfy seats etc) feel free to drop me an email as and when.Rob
Auto due out this month so will be looking.
I'm 6'3 and have really struggled to get comfortable in the ones I've sat in though.hoping the Auto will help, but not as much as being able to move the bulkhead back a bit to give the seat more range.

Anyone know if they get an oil change early on? I've got a message coming up saying it need one it's 3 months old and done 3k.
Just to update....Van is booked in to get plugged in and reset it's a known problem and will probably get the oil/filter changed under warranty

Auto custom and transit are out now and available to order in 130 and 170ps engines, most dealerships are still waiting to receive demos but we can take orders
Cheers Rob
Hi Rob, any issues with the new Adblue engine you're aware of?Cheers Rob
Just awaiting the AA for recovery as mine has the error message on screen about not starting in 460 miles. Spoke to someone at Ford and apparently a lot are having issues.

Bit late but I'd get a good long test drive in one, I'm 5'11" and I struggle to get comfortable. Auto may be better but the manuals problem is nowhere to put your left foot on a run. Pedals are quite high off the floor too. If I don't drop the nose of the seat I have agonising pain in my left knee for days. Auto due out this month so will be looking.

Can't say I'm loving mines after 6 months, still not finding the seat particularly comfortable and the rear is like an ice rink so things keep moving around.
Still not sorted the oil service warning yet and I've just had to put adblue in after less than 5k.
Ours is refrigerated and is terrible inside, the comoany that fit it out don't include any tie downs so it's essentially useless as a normal van at any point if you need to secure anything.Still not sorted the oil service warning yet and I've just had to put adblue in after less than 5k.
Had ours all this week and my left knee is agony, seat all the way back and nose tipped. Feels comfortable enough most of the time but I suffer after. Glad I didn't order a combi version that I had my mind on and stuck with a double cab.

I can see rapid escalation in the restrictions/profiteering by councils on diesel, what with it being the cool thing to hate on this week by our visioned leaders, so I've decided to wait on a viable hybrid or electric van now - I gather the hybrid custom is due next year.Cheers Rob
Unfortunantly I like to spend a bit on custom racking and fit out and want to keep a van for 10 years or so just to save on hassle, so I'll flog the vito into the ground for now... owes nowt now as I'm paying nothing on it so it can break and need fixing a couple times a year, which is something you CAN rely on from a merc today
Well it's taken bloody ages but I've finally managed to get a drive of the Auto, and I'm impressed. Much more comfortable as you can put your left foot wherever you want, quiet and decently refined once warm. Going to go back and see if I can have it for a day/night and then may go for it if my initial thoughts are confirmed.

I collect a 170 Sport Double Cab Auto in the next week or so. I've not driven the 170, but have driven a 130 double cab, and 130 auto van. Both seemed reasonably quiet and refined - the double cab a bit more so. Auto seemed to work well.I went for the Sport mainly as the standard fit is two front captains seats. The 2 seater bench looks uncomfortable, and I want the option to use on family trips at least.
