Digi card renewal. Anyone had problems.

As per title really.
I reapplied for mine the week before Christmas as it had expired 18 months back, I hadn’t renewed it back then due to a long ongoing issue with the DVLA/DMG which has now been put right.
As it hasn’t arrived yet and I’m desperate to get back to work I gave them a bell today. After checking my details on the phone the helpful lady explained to me that my card had been issued and sent to me on the 8th of December,
and she was surprised it hadn’t arrived.
I then told her I was more surprised than she was as I hadn’t actually applied for said card until the 22nd of December!!!!!!
After dealing with the DVLA and it’s inadequacies this past 3 years I didn’t think there was anything else they could do to surprise me.

sorry to hear that fella. Not same circs as you as they werent renewals but I've rang in for replacements twice in last 2 years and theyve been in my hand within 3 working days both times. Only trying to say they can be efficient sometimes. Hope it gets sorted soon.

Hard to believe I know, but yes I now have all licences reinstated and my new digi card has arrived.
Back in a wagon tomorrow for the first time in over 3 and a half years, and its a wagon and drag on an A frame
That's a first for me.
