I have one on a 65 plate its a single car transporter its up to 189k

Its had
Injectors
Dpf
Egr
Gearbox
Clutch
Fly wheel
Serviced every 10k

They are the best of that chassis if it was a Citroen or Peugeot the list would be much longer

I've got 5 - all 2.3 JTD's - the oldest is from 2003, the latest 2018. The oldest is over 300000km and has only needed services, tyres and 1 clutch.

Ty all.

The turbos, do they need a few moments to let the oil drain or can you kill the engine pretty much once stopped?

also, im suspecting stop start duties do them in far quicker than long runs?

When I'm driving one I've always just stopped the engine. Our vans mostly do longer runs - making small deliveries to farms.

The courier vans who come to us usually leave the engine running (although that could be because we're out in the country).
