Just ( A couple of weeks ago and a library pic too. ) bagged this Outdoor Revolution Oxygen Ozone Airframe 6XTR tent from PJ Camping in St Albans.

A 5 Air Frame tent to replace the Vango Icarus 600 we've had for some years now.

Top of the prices were £1300 from main dealer, in PJ Camping for £995, we got the ex display on for £500 It had been up for 5 weeks. Took a real good look at it and pulled the trigger.

Problem is the size of bag is 4 times the size of the Vango but cant wait to get out in it sometime early next year.

What? It's half term soon - you should be looking to get it out sometime next week not next year!

Hymer B544, owned for two weeks and very happy with it. Looking forward to next summer, and getting out as much as we can this year as well.

Is your rear number plate missing? Anyways, you've probably done a couple of trips in it by now, how are you and the dogs finding it?

Ha! wink yes that was when I collected it so I did put my plate in before setting off. No haven't done any trips yet, but the 300 mile trip home was quite a baptism of fire! am booked on a towing course and need to get a few things done to it before staying in it... I do love it though smile

Our 2.5XT fully laden for our 2nd ever caravan adventure. A very stable and accomplished drive, achieved 18mpg over 300 miles, normally 26mpg in regular use. Seems bad but a very small % drop really. I'd highly recommend one as a tow car even very close to max tow limit.

Has your caravan got a back door for very small people?

Haha! It's access to behind/under the bunk beds in the back of the van...ideal for small people!

It's the 'special' door, for storing the children until they can be put in the basement...

Well we've picked up our trailer and its quite simply brilliant. Our first trip out was to
Lake Burrendong over Christmas and was a complete success!

Great to see another Maggiolina, and aren't those collapsible ladders just the ticket.

Currently touring south-east australia in our DIY-converted T4 high top. First stop was Regrowth Festival at lake lidell. I'll get some better snaps of the inside if anyone is interested but features vinyl floor, pull-out bed with storage, fitted(ish) kitchen unit, over-head storage, dual battery system with charger sockets, LED strip lights and round LED down-lights for reading, tow bar with 2 x mountain bikes and everything you could possibly need to live for a couple of months, all in a SWB T4! I'm amazed.

Some great looking tents here.

I first got a ACE Roma sponge which soaked up all the water it could find. It also didn't tow very well as it only had the 2.2l Fiat lump in it. Now I have a 5t Sprinter based Geist Matterhorn with the all important 3.0 v6 t (this is pistonheads after all).
