Autosleeper Motorhomes

Was at the Peterborough Show on Sunday looking to get a handle on the various options for a Motorhome.
Only need a 2 berth, limited budget
An older Autosleeper Talisman caught our eye, and looking on the Internet they seem to have a good reputation for build quality.
It seems that they have a monocoque construction to the habitation - assume this is unusual?
Any opinions on Autosleeper generally, is the reputation deserved, would a good one be a reasonable place to start on the Motorhome trail?

I've sold and holidayed in a load of Autosleepers over the years, they are very good old buses.
The Monocoque body shell was actually designed by William Towns of Aston Martin Lagonda fame And it eliminates most damp which is a killer of older Motorhomes, with a few minor exceptions cost meant Monocoques never caught on.
All old Autosleepers hold their money well and upto about 06 they were a quality product if poorly insulated and horribly dated by the end.
I'd genuinely buy one myself as a first van if the layout suits or look at that other bastion of quality and longevity I'm an older van, a Hymer B or S class.
If you want any pointers or ideas on what some things worth just tap me up, I've been using Motorhomes and selling g them for a living for over 12 years, my ex even worked for Autosleeper at the factory!

Where I work it's all about the shiny German stuff though we get all sorts of things in px.

The customer thinks he has it sold privately but if it does land I could trade it to you, quite probable it won't come in though.
