ADAC Breakdown Cover

I'm looking at getting breakdown cover for my folding camper when we go to France. I've heard a lot of good things about ADAC and how they are are lot less expensive than the cover that the Caravan Club offer. Silly questions these might be, but I want to make sure that I've done the correct things. How can I contact them in English? Also if I have ADAC cover can I stop my Green Flag cover that I have already for just the car?

How do you mean - contact them in English? Do you mean to buy it, or if you break down? If it's when you break down, you just call the call centre, and say "sprekensie English?" and they'll find an English speaker, no problem at all - we broke down twice, and had no issue either time. If it's to buy, a quick Google search for ADAC English should help.

And yes, it covers you in the UK too, so no need for Green Flag as well.

This thread made me wonder - once we are fully 'out' of the EU, will ADAC still offer this to UK based customers?

it says on the joining page for ADAC that you need to have an address in Germany, how do you get round that?

I read a few months ago they were stopping people from outside Germany from joining now.

Have just joined ADAC and the English speaking chap was very helpful. The only thing that was slightly irritating was that I had to spell everything using the phonetic alphabet and having a long double-barrelled surname meant it took an age. All family members are covered and I can tow a caravan up to 3500kg.
