Thinking of going to Burnbake Campsite in Dorset - Reviews?

As per the title, I'm planning a week camping next week (Monday - Saturday), and I'm thinking about going to burnbake campsite, I've never been, does anyone have any experience of it? It looks to be a good location and lots of positive repeat customers.

Not been there, but just had 2 weeks further east here http://www.woodfarm.co.uk/

It was excellent, kids loved it and very handy for Lyme Regis, which is really nice.

Again, haven't been there and unable to comment.

Returned on Friday from Eweleaze Farm at Osmington, which was fabulous and had its own beach.

Being a working farm there is plenty to do for little ones, including walking the farm puppies and arts and crafts workshops.

Also, you are allowed to have campfires, many nights of roasting marshmallows

Thanks for the comment, woodfarm looks lovely but we had a long weekend near chard and spent the day in charmouth already this summer. It is a lovely place, but always nice to explore somewhere new.

Thanks for the link to the campsite review site, looks like burnbake gets reasonable reviews

Again I can't speak for the site you have an eye on however we did five nights at East Fleet Farm just outside Weymouth (Chickerell) and would happily return, were only it a little closer to home.

Once spent a few very happy nights at Burnbake. I was a bit loved-up because I'd not had my camper for long, but it was a great spot - rustic feeling with lots of trees, not over-developed like some sites are. Will go back with the kids one day.
