I considered a new cool box a couple of years ago but decided to struggle on with my old worn out box. Now the time has come as a must have new cool box for next season.
I do not want a 12v or mains run box prefer to use a ice block in the box.
Box needs to be about 30lt and offer two/three days cold temperature. Thanks.

Can't go wrong with a Coleman. I've had mine a decade, and 5 bags of supermarket ice last 3 days in the summer, as long as you threaten to chop off your kids' hands if they keep leaving it open. Although mine is I think a 70 litre... But I would imagine the smaller ones perform just as well.

Coleman Extreme, I've had ice still frozen in mine after a week at Le Mans.

Thanks chaps, the coleman was one that I was considering, apparently the latest has improved insulation. Also offers two cup holders in the lid as a bonus, perfect.

Another vote for the Coleman. If you really want it to stay cold for a long time chill the box down before using it with some ice or ice packs and put food in it that's already chilled along with more ice.

Check out Igloo boxes. They are available at Costco, usually in Spring. You don't need to be a member to buy through the website.

Cheaper than your standard often offered box and far higher performance.
I used to attend a lot of cooking events and Igloo is what the pro teams use.

Had mine about 5 years. It's tremendous.

Have to admit never heard of them, thanks for the link. Five years use and a recommendation for thier product has to be worth a proper look.

I'll be replacing my little Thermos with an Igloo. A lot of overlanders use Igloo cool boxes.

They do make some eye wateringly expensive stuff but I'm sure I only paid around £45 delivered for mine. Worth checking back at Costco if you are not in a rush to buy. they do the bigger ones too.

4 days at le Mans, 30 degree heat this year, hotter in the tent all day. I had to pour the ice out on Monday morning.

My local Costco had one in for £40, I wish I bought it as they sold out quick. I got a Camping Gaz one, it's ok but I wish I'd got the igloo!

I use one of these:

It's absolutely brilliant and keeps things cool for ages.
