Love the tartan trim, nicely different from the norm.
Nice to see a "van" that's nor black or white or some other dark miserable colour.
Not sure on the steering wheel though.
May I ask what sort of price/mileage the "van" was and where you sourced it, of course you arre in Kent I'm the other end of the country...

The tartan is great, reminds me of great Mercedes racers, or early Porsches.
Our van is a rusty old relic... weird, considering she's still considered modern and vulgar in VW circles. Still, at least she's a "proper" aircooled boxermotor, albeit one of the last. And she's certainly bright and cheery

That's our Beryl on the left. I never liked yellow, especially not on a vehicle. But Mrs da Greek always wanted a yellow sportscar so this is my penance for ruining her dreams by having kids with her And I wouldn't have called her Beryl either (the van, not the wife) but she came to us already called that and I believe that like boats, it's very unlucky to rename cars

I paid £9495 + vat 10 months ago for it. Nice to see a "van" that's nor black or white or some other dark miserable colour.

62/13 on 95k but full history.
What made it for me (I don’t particularly like red!) was the fact it wasn’t white, had a tailgate... and aircon. Also full history and being immaculate counted in its favour. The dealer probably priced it 1500-2000 too short.
Steering wheel is a rare Lupo 3L one... hard to find, but is a touch retro which I liked

She looks nice and clean - not a rusty old relic!
Didn't realise renaming was unlucky? Ours has been renamed once we took ownership ,

http://www.boatsafe.com/nauticalknowhow/rename.htmIt'll probably be fine. I just didn't want to tempt fate and ...I dunno, sink or something

I am in the process of turning this 2013 ex Miele service van
Into this...
Just some odds and ends to tidy up and it’s done.
Mixture of some DIY, some off the shelf parts, some custom parts... but far more personality than most of the stuff I could find for sale
If there’s enough interest I can do a full build breakdown.
Looks like a beauty! I;m looking into buying a T5 or T6 and converting it. How do you find the 3/4 width bed. Is it wide enough for 2 adults? I've got 2 kids so they would need to be in a pop top to sleep.Into this...
