Yep, VW Cali/Beach hold their value like a limpet mine and bits entirely feasible to run one for a year and sell it for what you paid for it especially at the moment as supply is scarce and they are always in fashion.

There are apparently no orders being taken for California’s at the moment, but there are those who’d rather drive a Transit or Citroen laugh

As a Cali Beach owner, that price is fookin mental. Give the cost of living increases chance to bite, they’ll soon come back down to earth with a bump.

From what I understand the Russians have bombed the factory that makes the T6 wire harness and production had to be moved to Africa. This had added yet more delays to production.

Buying a T6 is expensive but they hold their value better than any of the other camper vans.

If you are looking to save money just buy a decent spec panel van and get it converted.
