Roast beef strips, leave them in red wine over night.
Sugar snap peas
Red peppers cut into thin strips
sliced red onion
Udon noodles
chill flakes/hot sauce/hoisin to taste.
I brown the meat off, then add the sugar snap peas, peppers and noodles and stir fry.
I add either chilli flakes, hot sauce or hoisin at this point and stir it in until all coated and ready to serve.
If i can't get red wine then definitely hoisin sauce but if i have red wine then i'll usually add chilli flakes to give it a little extra pep.
Lady Slopes laughed at me when i said i was going to cook it and said it would taste horrible. Her son is a chef in training and he told her after eating it that i can cook which shut her down and it's funny but she keeps asking me to cook it since.

Just rediscovered our old favourite meal; we call them batti-wraps although I suspect that should be baLti First enjoyed from a food stand at the original couple of Carfests (before it grew too big).
Bbq some spicy lamb kofte or similar, heat a kingsize wrap briefly too, arrange a mixture of salad and the meat split into strips ('butterflying' it ensures it's cooked through too) and then add the magic... the Holy Trinity of sweet, sour, and hot; mango chutney, raita (plain yoghurt with mint sauce stirred through) and hot chilli sauce (kebab shop type). Fold. Eat. Enjoy. Thank me later.
