Sorry to hear abut your mam Steve. My condolences.

Good to hear about you getting out and about. It's a lot quieter on the continent at this time of year with very acceptable temperatures. We go to Spain for 2 months each January and can easily get low 20's and sun bathing weather.

Just racked up another 30 nights going to northern Italy s that's us up to 169 nights so far this year.

It's going to be a record year for us I think.
Blimey. That'll take some beating!
Is there a limit now for Europe? Or is it just consecutive ?

Yeh you can only stay for 90 days in any 180. It's a rolling 90/180 days so as days 'drop off' you can add more in. It's complicated to explain but we can make it work if we go for 60 days across Jan-Mar; 30 days in May; then 30 days in September.

Tbh its a PITA but not worth attempting to game the system.

Depends mate. If you do what I do, and use an Estonian passport, all your troubles melt away. 😉
PS, we're 32 days in now and just back into SW France, and it's still flaming warm. Lying here in the naughty naked nude (sorry...) with windows and roof vents all open, and Maxxair fan pumping out at a fairly high rate, and still too ruddy warm!
Happy though...

If I thought we would use a camper half as much I’d have one, sadly Mrs isn’t very keen frown

In the municipal campsite in Quimper (Brittany) tonight. About £7 a night inc electric, so it'd be rude not to 😄). Mostly we've done aires, 'wild', and France Passion though.
Think that's 44 nights so far on this trip, with slightly more of those in France than in Spain.
We're probably here for another eight or ten nights before we start looking to book a ferry back to those Septic Isles.

Only 72 nights and 12,000 miles so far this year.

I've been stuck decorating the house for the last two months which was only meant to take a month ... this meant my idea of October wanderings around Europe got binned. Otherwise I'd be up to 100 nights...

We are just back from 14 nights touring in the MH: Cheltenham, NEC for the MH Show; Southwold; Sutton Hoo; and Henley.

That's us up to 183 nights away so far this year. We are closing in on 200 biggrin

Love Southwold. And Sutton Hoo. In fact, that whole neck of the woods.

Well after a truncated trip to the west country after our water system stopped working (probably frozen even though we are fully winterized) we finished the year on 195 nights away for 2022.

Mine too. I have been in and running the log burner during the very cold nights but a midnight return from a gig on Wednesday meant I didn't have the fire warming the truck through and Wednesday dipped to -5. Fresh water is underneath and insulated but I guess -5 was exceptional. It's thawed out now.

In an almost serendipitous coincidence a friend fitted out a couple of portacabins with a thermostatically controlled 240volt heat trace cabling three months ago for a job that didn't progress and was about to strip it all out and chuck it in a skip and when I mentioned my plight he offered me the whole system!

Was hoping to get a few more nights in in December, but due to various factors, didn't, so we ended up with a frankly disappointing 72 nights.
Should do much better next year though...
