The Game of Thrones GN looks pretty decent too.
Hmm, might check one of these out.

I love The Walking Dead books if people haven't checked them out. The TV how has been pretty true to source material so far.

I can recall liking it.

The Hedge Knight is a GN from GRRM set in that world (much earlier than current series) - its superb little story, absolutely loved it.

Be warned it gets very odd after volume 2 (especially the Black Dossier), I didn’t find them a patch on the first two. But I think if you enjoyed the extra stories at the back of the first two books (which I didn’t) then you’ll probably enjoy them as they're similarly odd.

I’d be interested on how you find From Hell and how it compares to the film, always fancied getting it but being the size of a phone book it must be uncomfortable to read?

I've started it and to be honest I'm a bit "meh" about it. The artwork means it's not always easy to follow which character is what and the 1800's English takes a while to get into.

As you say the size is a bit difficult but not a killer. Funnily enough the film was on TV the other day so recorded it to watch after I've finished the book.

I finished this the other week and once the "core" story started I thought it was a really good read. It's not the easiest of things to physically read due to the size but if you read round the house (sofa, bed) rather than on transport etc it's fine.

The film was on the other week that I recorded so will see how it compares.

I love the The League of Extraordinary Gentleman, the second book is just awesome.

The film was pure 100% distilled and reformulated utter piss.

I am just reading From hell, I'm finding it hard going if I'm honest, my recommendation would be the ten volumes of love and rockets that is on amazon, much more enjoyable .

They have sanitised The Walking Dead rather shoddily.
