SORRRRRY, genuinely unintentional!

I of course am refering to the book "The Game" by Neil Strauss

My mates bought it me (along with the Partridge book and a load of DVDs!!!! good mates smile ) for my convelesance....

Couple of them have read it and say it is entertaining and they've actually learned a few things which they've applied to real life!

Anybody read it?

Myself and MOH (I had to share the love), have just lost The Game....

Not heard of the book, but will look up as have read a few PH recommendations and enjoyed.

I'm sure there was a lounge thread about it a while ago.

From back cover-

"The Game recounts the incredible adventures of a shy, everyday man who transforms himself into the quick witted, smooth talking Style, a character irresistable to women."

I've read it and really enjoyed it. It's not a good book to read but can start to make you adopt a new way of thinking around life and meeting new people.

Yes you can read this and start to then get into other books and forums. Venusionarts.com I think is the main one. There are lots of other books out there along a similar line but none are as interesting to read.

So does this mean that your going to run around Negging women at bus stops in a effort to master you number closing techniques?

Haha, not quite wink Did 50 odd pages before bed last night and found it pretty interesting tbh.

Interested in your comment "Its not a good book to read..." in what way?

typo ( was paying to much attention to the Olympic pole vault ) I should have wrote "it not a bad book to read." I did enjoy it and did for a little while use this book as a stepping stone to learn some new talents. All I'm going to say is I can fully believe everything in this book and the exploits he and his friends got up to.

I read it a while back and enjoyed it. Was amusing and interesting. Certainly some really out there/entertaining strories. Unfortunately the conclusion was a little 'wet' (ironically I believe he got dumped by the girl he ended up with!).

If you liked that, I'd suggest checking out Tucker Max. Not so much and picking up girls but all the crazy scrapes he gets involved with owing to them. Will have you properly laughing out loud.
