Hi all, I've just bought a Samsung note and wish to download a load of books. Reason is I'm hopefully going on a long sailing trip so need a bundle of books to buy before I go. Is there any club where it can just groups of books to download ?

I've not been a great reader in the past so don't know of any booksites or authors i might like!!

Light, entertaining reading me thinks !!

Your local public library should have an e-lending division,if it's like mine you can 'borrow' 3 books per week. You get to keep them for 3 weeks but if you have access to to the internet on your journey no reason why can't you download new books as and when

I normally use a kindle so you could download the Kindle app and buy books of amazon. Have look at http://www.ereaderiq.com/ and you can find free books.

As for finding books, I find amazon good for just browsing but check out the PH thread on "What are you Reading".

What sort of subject do you fancy?

That is exactly what I did while on holiday in New Zealand last month.

What does it mean you get to keep them for 3 weeks ? Surely if you've downloaded them you have them for good ?

I don't think i'll be able to read three books in three weeks !!

Borrowing eBooks is similar to borrowing real books. Rather than returning them, they time out after three weeks, preventing reading. Instead of renewing you borrow them again.
