Which Charles Dickens?

I'm currently reading Great Expectations and finding it harder going than say, Copperfield or Oliver Twist.
Maybe try A Christmas Carol being the festive season? Its a short read.

Most people say start with Great Expectations, I did and whilst far from my favourite I think it is a good introduction to Dickens.

My favourites are Bleak House, A Tale of two Cities and Our Mutual Friend.
