I’ve got an old encyclopaedia, that belonged to my Dad. It’s dated 1933:



The pages are ok, but the spine is dead:







Does anyone know where I could get it restored? Thanks.

Yes - great book. I find myself picking it up (or rather pushing it along my desk - it's huge), and just marvelling at the diagrams and pictures.

I'm really glad I had it restored.

My mother used to work for the county library and when I did my uni thesis needing a hard cover, she pointed out that the library people had a team of bookbinders who obliged.
Not sure if cut backs meant they disappeared but another lead if anybody else is looking.
