Bit of a random request but do the PH reading contingent have any recommendations for good books based in/about Bristol?

There must be some crime/thrillers not set in London or Oxford! Or some literary fiction?

Even though I'm sitting here in the centre of the city, have lived here for the thick end of forty years, and am married to a Bristol publisher, I can't think of one. But I'm sure they're out there... I'll ask Mrs Y because she has an encyclopaedic knowledge of books, esp crime etc, and may well reel some off.

Mezzanine – good album by the way thumbup

Hopefully Mrs. Y can remember something.

I lived in Bristol for a few years and really miss it, hence why I felt the need to immerse myself in some great writing about the place.

Maybe a niche in the market, and an excuse to move back (and learn to write!)

One of the best albums thumbup

There must surely be some Cliffhangers and Suspense books about Bristol?

Those synopses sound realistically depressing at any rate.
