Now that is lovely, I want that please! Hmmmmm........I'm seriously tempted with that although my mind is slightly fuzzy from copious amounts of vin rouge last night! I'll think I'll wait for the fog to clear and come back later!

They're asking £11K for one of those in one of the classic car magazines. Sounds like a potential bargain!

This Fiat Coupe:

[Edit]: Sorry my mistake, meant the one below - easy mistake to make!!

And for £2400 you could buy two, for when the other breaks down. But being fair, I've owned three of these over the years (yes I was bullied as a child, not breast fed enough and I do have a genuine reason to be scared of men in white coats) and they're great fun, they always draw attention, some of it good!

Love the RX7 and the Alpine, but for me would have to be :

www.pistonheads.com/sales/61982.htm

Not surprised it's sold - what a fantastic 944 S2. They're so cheap it's criminal.

Its not a "What car thread", its a fun game for all the family....

...ok, yeh its a thinly veiled attempt at a what car thread . I'm scarily attracted to a locost at the moment, I've got to get it out of my system!

I don't know about you, but I would buy this for £60 www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/61342.htm Somebody should point out to the vendor that he missed the 'K' or an additional three zeros off

A work colleague of mine used to have one of these Renault Alpines. It spend more time in the Garage than on the road - terribly unreliable from new , he hated it.

My nominations are:

Either:
for £4,900
for £5,000
for £5,000

Don't know which of the 3 I would take, probably the Westfield for all out fun, then the Trevor, then the Rallye.

No,its an Alpine GTA Turbo, but its sort of the French 911.

They were only called Renaults(they own the Alpine marque) in The UK, due to some legal crap about the Talbot Alpine. Alpine was an entirely seperate company, a bit like the way Proton own Lotus. I have a friend who's owned one for the last 5 yrs. He's had no major issues with it, fantastic car-totally underated.

When I changed cars in November, It was a toss up between a GTA Turbo and a 944S2. The Porsche won only because the Alpine is fairly rare here, and the nice ones take time to find. If the right car comes along,I'd still consider it though
