0-187mph in 10 seconds etc is impressive but let's see it on the M25 at 6pm for an hour of nose to tail stop / start. If it doesn't blow up and the driver's leg doesn't fall off from what I imagine must be a pretty fierce clutch, then it's a proper car.

Wonder what it's like pulling away in the wet?

Methinks doing a few hundred stop-starts in an Enzo would be less than fun..

M25?? if i had a car like that (or even my TVR for that matter) the last place i wanna be sitting is the M25 at 6pm.. You'll see me on the longest most un cost-effective trip home possible...
That car is for fun, not for cooking!!

Pulling away in the wet? Depends on how you juggle that left hand pedal and the right hand pedal i would think..

Love the car and ethos. thumbup

I assume from the tasty 0-187mph time that it will keep going to the double-ton...?

Wonder how stable it is with those aerodynamics at such silly figures... scratchchin

Eh? I'd have thought this monster would require a driver endowed with a particularly large pair of nads actually..........you're not Richard Madeley are you?

I would have prefered the body to be widened along the entire length of the centre section(about 6 inches), rather than the wheel arch extensions, and also do something about the scoop.

Quote title: "Monster power and Torque: but can Ian Kuah see past the bonnet scoop?"

Is that an Auto? I'm seeing a T-lever...

And if it's a 12.9l why does it retain the 427 badge on the flank?

Not my thing but I'd love to have a go in one.

Ali.

Just a thought. If we are talking about maxing it then lets go the whole hog and build a fake snake around an RR Merlin block. With superchargers. That should should ramp it up to appx 2400 bhp.

I say Algy: 1100 bhp, bit girly what?

£373k for a replica cobra. One born every minute.

I'm glad there is 'one born every minute' as you put it, otherwise there would not be this type of marvellous car in existence!

I really cannot believe that here, on Pistonheads, people are bemoaning the fact that a car like this exists!

Oh and to whatever chugnut it was that said the car would be no good on the M25? I do believe you missed the point somewhat ffs! rolleyes

Its an auto, and has a cooling system tested in dubai, sounds pretty useful for tootling up the M25 to me. would love to see peoples face if you did, blip the throttle and cars either side would get blown over by the exhausts

and without the scoop the huge carb intakes would ruin the lines, its not like cobras are pretty anyway, its no e-type!Its got a 12.7 L engine, its allowed a scoop, its basically a funny car dragster in a cobra body, but road legal, I love it :-)
