my mate has got W1FEY - the sun valued it at £100k. I have no idea why.

His mate has B16 BOY I think - he sells them so he's got loads.

Recently been exchanging mails with a DVLA bod.. begging them to update the current rules so I can put a newer dated plate on my car than currently allowed. "Think of all the extra revenue you lot would get" etc etc. No chance.

"Do people really buy a used car after only looking at the reg plate & not at the vehicle documents ?!?!? "
Didnt work, naturally

Theres a BMW 3 series cabriolet that knocks around Derby being driven by a Bet Lynch lookalike, SN03JOB, slightly doctored to spell SNOB JOB.

I friend of mine used to have B19EGO on his Mercedes years ago.

My Mums Corvette had United Arab Emirates plates back in the Seventies, the plate was all in Arabic, that was pretty cool, especially when she got pulled for speeding, her Licence was all in Arabic too. They always let her off!

Other plates I have seen : R4CER on a Marcos (a PH'er?- superb) and V8000M on a Tuscan (Vroom? although v BOOOOOOOOOOM is more appropriate )

Oh and BAD 541T on a Cerbera (Steve Barber IIRC??)

Wonder how much some of the above are worth?!!

I understand one of the above may be for sale at the mo.

If you have that kind of money you should buy a Wedge.

LOL as lovely as a wedge is, I want to learn to drive before I get my own TVR. The Elise would satisfy the driver and poser in me. I can use the Cerb for sheer grunt anyway so the Elise is part of a master plan...

Really love that plate though, you passed me on the motorway a few months ago and I have to say it looked excellent.

A mate of mine had "BAD 2" on his old Mitsubishi van worth nothing a while back. I cannot tell you how many people offered to buy the van from him thinking he did not know what the plate was worth. Picked on the wrong bloke there!

I had to pick up a customers 911 convertible when i worked in the car audio business, the car kept getting a flat battery, blamed our alarm system, anyway i had to drive this car and got much abuse as the plate was F1USH oh yes i kid you not.It decided to break down on a dual carriageway so i had to leave it.Called the police when i could and before i could actually tell them what car it was he just said 'Not FLUSH is it mate coz its been towed away' DOH!!!

oh yeah his battery was knackered!!
