Best plate I've ever seen: 51X on a 911 RS.

I've seen MUS 1C outside HArrods, also 147 UP on an XJ Jag.

Saw F45 TER on an F355.

Old car mags used to have a white Countach with
TOO 510W - kinda cool.

The guys in the US seem to have a free reign on plates, one guy on Rennlist has ADRNLIN on his GT3.

Cheers

PS anyone want to sell 51NGH or MR51 NGH for a reasonable price?....

Saw LAX 1 today...

...on a bog standard Range Rover of all things.

I'd expected neons, but the owner must instead be a regular guy?

Commonly misunderstood by many, personal or cherished number plates can now sell for more than the average priced house. Indeed, on 10th December 1993 an anonymous buyer paid a staggering £235,000 for their ultimate numberplate: ‘K1 NGS’ (Kings). More astounding was the time it took the auctioneer to achieve this figure – just over two minutes! Other examples of registrations sold for large amounts of money are: ‘1A’ £202,000; ‘S1 NGH’ (Singh) £108,000; ‘1 RR’ £106,000; ‘G1 LLY’ (Gilly) £87,500; ‘P1 LOT’ (Pilot) £82,500 & ‘ELV 1S’ (Elvis) £75,000.

KNOB ROT...class!

K1 NGS (mentioned earleir) lives in Bromley on a Roller. He used to own a club in Peckham called Kings On The Rye, if I recall 5 EXY (SEXY)used to be on a Lambo round here as well but its long gone now.

...got into the local paper in Droitwich. It was owned by an old couple who'd got it on their first car when they'd got married and transferred it to every car they'd owned subsequently for sentimental reasons. Apparently they'd never realised it was rude until the reporter told them. Seems they decided to cash in on it after this as it was featured in a national rag not that long ago, owned as one of a pair with 4 KOF by some rich knob.

spotted M11SIC....on a fairly unforgettable in Bedford to-day.....the plate did make it look like Music though

That was on an old XJ6, it's on a newish Merc now, but I think they've had hassle about the illegal screw cap because it stopped looking like MUSIC a bit before they got the Merc.

Sounds like someones come down in the world. 911 x 2 from Diablo x 2 and Sutton Coldfield from Kensington. That's got to hurt .

...well spotted.

A mate had R1 FLE on his Chimaera but changed it to S1 PAY (his name is Si Pay). Don't know what happened to RIFLE, though. Owner of a gun club, maybe?
