All I buy is Optimax, so I assumed even a little reward would be worth claiming....doug
But a £2.50 return after spending around £570 on petrol???
Pathetic.
Points are PER LÝTE! 500 points ie 500 litres [of course this 500 coult be 250 litrs of vpower with vpower card as its 2 pt per lite when buying vp with vp card] 500 pts is 2.50 in money off fuel vouchers. Minimum 1000 pts for 5GBP shopping vouchers for one of the stores; Argos, Boots, Debenhams, Kingfisher Group (BQ Comet Wolworths) and Next.

Any questions?
Yes. Are you sure that its 150 litres in a quarter to qualify? I'm sure I read on the website/literature its 300 in a quarter.shell said:
How do I join the Shell V-Power Club?
Shell Drivers’ Club card holders may be upgraded by Shell to the Shell V-Power Club when they make a total purchase of 300 litres of Shell fuel in a given quarter, and at least 150 litres of that is Shell V-Power or Shell V-Power Diesel.
Reading that I understand that I have to buy 300 litres of Shell Petrol in a quarter, and 150 of that must be v-power for me to qualify.Shell Drivers’ Club card holders may be upgraded by Shell to the Shell V-Power Club when they make a total purchase of 300 litres of Shell fuel in a given quarter, and at least 150 litres of that is Shell V-Power or Shell V-Power Diesel.
Krise- make sure your card is registered or you wont be getting squat from us. Not to be rude just how it is! İf we've no details where and to whom can we send it to!? Best way to register is to do it on the website. Takes 5 working days for online reg to go through to our sysyem so call us then and make sure its gone through. Theres currently an issue on the website where theres a character limit and some addresses do not go through properly so make sure to ask the FULL add details have gone through. Remember, its 5 working days
Marf- yea 150 Vpower fuel, the 300 is not all for VP. Sorry thought you meant all VP
Gaffer- we send out replacement for vpower yea not for SDC, sure youre VP? If the card is lost then call the call center 08459 006 006 -is it sad that ive memorized our number?- anyhow we'll find your account with the details and send the card. We dont send it manually we click a button and it goes! :P Ýf theres an issue with your add it would prevent the delivery
ack excuse typos, damn laptop....

Hey, defo v-power, I was upgraded within a week, running 2 TVR's as daily drivers can have that effect.. given up now to be honest, been a good 5 or 6 months now, sick of calling or emailing. No problem with my post either. shame as I liked getting the vouchers and I was well on my way to top-level gifts.Claire

sorry to say if you havent got receipts we cant credit as we do need proof of purchase. If you pa,d w,th a credit ard of some sort to show transaction history that may helpPM me the details and I will try and call.
Claire
If the account has a note or sight of a card order and you obviously havent gotten the card we can credit the points as well as some gesture of goodwill points
I have a VPower card, and a Shell Mastercard, and TBH the SDC/VPC cards are not the best deal at the moment.
Assuming petrol is £1.20 a litre (bargain), you get 3.6p from Citi and 0.5p from Shell for each litre. That brings the price to equivalent of £1.159 a litre
Tesco and Sainsbury both have 5p a litre off if you spend £50 in store. On top Citi will give you 1.1p cash back and you get 1.1p clubcard/nectar points (x4 in gifts). Their equivalent becomes £1.128 a litre (or £1.095 if you use the points wisely)

I'm in the v-power club, had no idea it was in any way exclusive, just sent off a form years ago and they sent me a card. You get a nice magazine, and, er, that's about it...
Ae you sure you're not in the drivers club? do you have a yellow or silver/red card? Its a good scheme, it doesn't cost any extra as I already use V Power, but i get £15 of vouchers every quarter and a magazine, its better than a kick up the rear, or whatever BP (doesn't) offer.
Well after checking my points balance which stands at 169, I thought I'd ring up and see about my upgrade. The guy on the phone told me what I posted above, its not 150 litres of V-Power to qualify, its 300 litres total in a quarter, 150 litres of which must be V-Power.
On the plus side its come down 3p a litre in the last week.

Thread resurrection time, but is it just me that thinks the V Power club is barely worth the effort? I have had a malfunctioning swipe card for months now (the 4th such card I have had), have awaited a replacement for over a month and still nothing other than auto-response e-mails or no response at all!
The customer service levels are so low that it beggars belief - if you do get a response from someone on the phone, they barely have a clue how to deal with any issue? Any other poor experiences and has anyone spoken to Shell UK about just how poorly this reflects on them as a company?

I cut up my V-Power card and sent it back (still buy the fuel but can't be bothered with the programme). Points would only be added abouut 30% of the time and I only once managed to get BA miles in exchange for their points. They randomly enroled me into airmiles (thanks for the junk mail guys!) as the call centre guys didn't understand the difference.

Yes, they are pap, complete and utter pap.My local Shell station(which is shell owned) has had a problem with the tank they use to hold V-Power, so I've had to use the next nearest station, which is a franchise. Every time I buy V-Power, its recorded as shell unleaded instead. After speaking to three different people in various shell departments I finally managed to get it through their thick skulls what the problem was, but I dont think I will get the extra points I'm due.
