1985 Mini Mayfair - £550. Great to have my own car, horribly unreliable and rusty.
1987 Ford Fiesta 1.1L - £1050. Great car. Tiny tyres, no power, momentum is all!!!
1989 Ford Fiesta XR2 - £2350. Loved it, but a bit unsophisticated in the final analysis.
1996 Ford Fiesta 1.25Si - £4200. Lovely chassis and smooth engine.
1990 Golf GTI 8v - £1000. Bit ratty but I always wanted one. Great fun.
1989 Golf GTI 8v (highly modded) - £1500. Brilliant car. Wish I'd got it resprayed and hadn't sold it now.
1997 Ford Fiesta 1.25 Chicane - £1200. Brother's old car, same as the other 1.25.
1991 Golf GTI 16v - £1200. Lovely, but more temperamental than the 8v's. Didn't use it enough.
1997 Honda Civic 1.4i Tornado - £1500. Mother-in-law's old car. Brilliant at what it does.

Vauxhall Astra MK3 1.4 MPI - The multi point injection made all the difference....NOT !
Alfa Romeo 156 2.4 JTD - My first Alfa, converted ever since. 2.4 JTD unit had surprising pull and sounded great under acceleration
Alfa Romeo 156 2.0 JTS Veloce (Facelift) - Fantastic drive, sound, looks...very special car
Alfa Romeo GTV 3.0 V6 - POWERRRRRRRR !!!, unbelievable car (Current car)
Alfa Romeo GT 1.9 JTD - 156 chassis but better, more practical and a coupe, loved it (Just sold)

I have just got rid of the Almeira and replaced it with a 2.0 Litre Lancer Sport Estate.Also Didn't put down the FS1E I first started on.

Not a massive history, but I work on cars every day, at various dealerships, so would never buy a new car even if I could afford one. Plus I'm more of a retro head.
