[Couple more pics from the mobile]

Albert needs a lift home and Andrew steps up to the mark....

"You see? My honed and flexible body allows me to fit into a child's seat with permanent damage to only two of my limbs"

"Perfect. Now so long as no-one coughs, closes the door or attempts to operate any of the controls we should be home in no time. Darling, can you wait here with the dog?"

biggrin

A.

P.S. I'm just starting before anyone posts up pictures of the Skoda cornering or taking roundabouts hehe

You didn't crush Abby or did you Dink?

Fantastic weather, great countryside drive, super cars, new friends from the UK, catching up with old friends from Holland, that makes one amazing weekend!! biggrin

We drove the weekend with Elco's little Peugeot 306 feeling a bit like the wannabee's between all the supercars hehehe... but we survived, next time were there with the Impreza and the Skyline!

On Saturday I was surprized at the collection at the Louwman museum, quite a collection starting with original carriages dating back to the 1800's.
The drinks at the Hotel New York were welcome and the hotel supper was great, hot Thai Curry and waitreses. biggrin

On Sunday we went back to the hotel and picked up the guys and got to the fort for some breakfast.
Then the fun started, but the pictures tell a better tale then I can type. smile

Finaly we had a drink back at the New York hotel while seeing a big arse cruise ship leaving for a sunny destination, in reverse.....

I want to thank all the guys and girls coming over from the UK and seeing our little country from it best side, hope you enjoyed and will return next time!

greets,

One arm burned Aram

Some nice snaps from Joop here.

Great bunch of pics so far!

Thanx for taking those pics of me being absolutely comfy in the Cerb Andy. My but did not touch the seat, I only bumped my head once and my left leg - or right? - rested on the tunnel, making a shift only just possible. Leg started to sleep after 30 mins, when we arrived all safe and sound: thanx Andrew, Jeanine, Abby!

About 200 snaps to go through, will take my time as usual. A few from saturday:

Arjans stunning piece of Tusc Vert.

Here the door still worked . . .wink

Eric's sweet Chim 4.3, Andrews mean Cerb. Qty and Reckless Eric inspecting it.

Wow and wow, this is it. Gives a decent sound as well!

The one and only Hartge, David, EricT900, Arj, Andrew, Qty, Reckless, GTRene, Aram and Elco.

GTRene thundering towards the gasstation.

Reckless Erics beauty: this ST is a looker!

The only car without flies or any dirt. How do you manage!?

"Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep....." goes the SS Big Arse Cruise Ship (aka Cunard's Queen Victoria smile )

At this point the mobile was really struggling but you can see the scale against the harbour buildings! What I should have done was run back to the car, fetch the camera, vault lightly over the glass partition onto the quayside and take a proper photograph. Luckily I had plenty of friends and wine to stop mewink

Although the majority of the pictures are little red x's for me, the ones I can see look great! Some very tasty machinery there.

Check: reload maybe? If somethings wrong with mine loading please say so. My Photobucket is all public so should be good.

What did we want? shout food sir!

After a few beers in the sun:

Aram's stare.

The happy bunch.

Eat Arjan eat!

"Are you sure you don't want a shrimp?"

They managed . . . and turned into fish and jumped in the river Maas. We never saw 'em again . . .

Arjan did a great job getting all of us - 15 - on one table. Cheers for that mate.

Also here on this website, a big thnx to the organizers Dinkel and Klassiekerrally, thnx matesbeer

we had a fantastic weekend with lots of laughs and nice cars, thnx also to all the UK people, nice cars, friendly people, your all welcome next time againclap

Saturday at Louwman I also met a new Girl friend who liked my eau de toilette, but she forgot to shave as you could see on some pictures that are post, its the brown hairy ladysilly

Sunday however was the best experience, very nice cars, and a very nice trip in some corners of NL I never was beforebounce and with some people in our company that know where to floor the pedalhehe but it was very busy with people on bikes and walkers on those small roads, and the sounds of the cars gave some reason enough to slow us down even when we drove already very slowly, but with so many fast cars they must thought they waste or silence relaxing Sunday, but we paid those roads moronslaugh anyway we had fun! and time was way to short to see all the cars and pay some more respect to them, maybe next timedriving

also some new pictures every now and then from dutch posters on the driving-fun.com website>>
