The most impartial paper seemto be the FT. If you really don't want a broadsheet, you're ed.

Fair point my northern cohort if it weren't so irksome trawling through all the City goss and so forth. Plus its bit unwieldy when you're speaking to god, n'est-ce pas?

Its far more suited to you Geckoesque types anyway.

Oh, it's definitely true that there's way too much crap about Norther Electric, or the takeover rumours on Anglian Windows, but their actual news section does seem to be very well written.

I also quite like the Telegraph, but you need to keep reminding yourself about their bias if you want anything close to the "truth".

The Economist is also very good if you want a relativelly impartial review about what's been going on. It's only out once a week, too, so isn't too taxing. If you keep it in the bathroom, it's about a week worth of pooing, so you don't waste any real time reading it.

I subscribe to the FT Weekend, I also pick up the i from time to time and the Evening Standard when I’m in London (4-5 times a month)
