Everyday: Mini Cooper JCW
Weekend: Ruf CTR3
Practical: Audi RS6 Estate
Track: Caparo T1
Offroad: Bowler Wildcat
And I agree with the idea of the stealthy underground garage with the lift and normal two door for the world to see. It would also have an underground passage to the house. I would probably refer to it as the batcave!

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM GARAGE?
Alfa Romeo:Alfetta GTV - an early one with steel bumpers.
Alfetta GTV6 3.0 - an original one with the NACA duct in the bonnet bulge, red pinstripes, the split rim wheels, everything. I'd be tempted to drop a later 3.0 or enlarged engine in it though to get rid of the 6 carbs.
A 2.0 Spider from the 70s (i.e. Kamm tail and perspex headlight covers, no funny plastic bits of trim)
33/2 Stradale - just to look at.
Lamborghini:
A Countach 5000QV. Black. With the stupid wing too. An earlier one without the Anniversary style strakes on the sills.
Urracco P300. Black, or a lovely red one I saw with black instead of chrome trim.
A Murcie SV - should fulfill my modern supercar needs.
Aston Martin:
V8 Vantage Volante (The '80s one)
Ferrari:
512BB
288GTO
456GT... perhaps
Lotus:
Esprit V8.
Elan Sprint DHC
Elise SC (will settle for a 111R or S)
79, in JPS colours.
The Rest:
Lancia Stratos or Hawk replica with the 24v Alfa engine
Whatever the most powerful Atom is at the time.
Straman Testarossa convertible. White.
A Koenig Competition - original with the two turbos and a supercharger. Dunno why, I've just always liked it..
Ducati 916. Not to ride. I'd just look at it.
Jag XJ12 - any one.
lots more space for the dozens I've forgotten.

If you Could Have 5 of Any Car What Would They Be?
That would be 5 Bugatti Royales. That should be enough to finance my Dream Garage.Edited by Alfanatic on Thursday 30th April 14:05
Dream garage - preferably two story, of oak construction. On second story small bar and lounge area
Caterham R500 - For utter loonyness
F40 - Just because
Zonda F - If I had the money for this lot, then I'd easily have enough money to venture of to Europe whenever (this would be weapon of choice)
E60 M5 - For daily use, oh, and the engine
Racing Puma - Would have to have one, first car I fell in love with

So, we're allowed 5 then...
1. My current 205 GTI. I wanted one since I was 5 when I sat in one at the Peugeot Talbot dealer in Wokingham while my Dad was buying a retro-fit air conditioning system for his 1.6 SR. Mine was a £350 banger, but only one previous owner. I've restored it as much as I want to, made a few upgrades too. It's perfect, and I will never sell it.
2. Luxury Barge. This would have to be something fast, but comfortable, classy and respectable. Jaguar XJR. I can't think of anything that does what it does half as well.
3. Track Car. I love my trackdays, and have never seen anything other than a Caterham up at the front. That's why it would have to be a Radical. They're just bonkers, and I would love driving it to and from the track. It's a race car with number plates.
4. Off-road. Why do Brits always want to crawl up and down stuff at the slowest pace possible? I was taught to drive off-road by a mental Yank from Baja California. In the spirit of Pikes Peak I'd take a Peugeot 405 T16, or possibly a Bowler Wildcat for the added ground clearance. fk carefully finding lines and fording with a bow wave. Point it up there, press the pedal and give it the beans.
5. Classic. Well, I was thinking it would have to be a convertible for pootling around the English countryside, so a Triumph TR4 fits the bill. But I've always wanted a Mini. A proper one. A Mark 1 Cooper, with external door hinges etc. Preferably with a bit of racing heritage. Failing that, perhaps an ex-racer Frogeye Sprite.

5 Cars:
Ferrari F40 - Ultimate Supercar
Audi RS6 - For everyday
Dodge Charger - The Classic
Caterham R500 - For pure driving
Land Rover Defender - Kitted for off-road
Plus I did some schematics for the building:
I'll live on the Yacht (HMS Hard bd) and use the MiL-24 for commuting. Also need the gaurd tower for defense.
You've got too much free time! :-)Ferrari F40 - Ultimate Supercar

When you're unemployed just finding stuff to do is work in itself.

It was just a bit of fun.
