I have very vague memories of when I was 3 or so and seeing my Nana's Scirocco parked on her drive... that is probably the earliest car memory I have!

My Dad had one of these - Silver over Maroon (with whitewall tyres). It's the first car I can remember, so it's burnt into my memory. I would have been about four.

I remember my dad taking me to Silverstone to watch the World Sports Cars (Sauber C9s, Jag XJR9s etc cloud9)
There was a 959 and a Testarossa parked next to each other. I've still got a photo of me standing between them looking awestruck.

My dad's Pontiac LeMans. Owned it in Germany circa 1967-68. Pity we had to leave it. It loved the autobahn (much to my mother's chagrin)

Lots of earlier memories of family cars like early Saab turbo (first car I had seen with a turbo guage) and various top exec models my dad had like an XM V6, 21 turbo. First car I ever really had to own after seeing it was a purple cerbera driving through Haslemere highstreet. I was on my Uni placement at the time and past Fernhursts every day. 3 years later I bought one from them.

Jensen Interceptor III and my first supercar ride was in a Porsche 928 way back in 1981. Loved the chequer interior and telephonedial wheels. Fast too as a 12 year old.

The very earliest was when I was a child and I used to get taken to visit the grandparents in Brandon. We'd pass an MG spares garage, but it wasn't an MG that was parked across the road pretty much every time we went, it was one of these:

Weird but true. It's the first car I can remember that I thought was ace.
