That's assuming Grosjean stays at Enstone. He reminds me of a young Alonso, the trouble is Alonso was 20 and Grosjean is 27/28. I really don't know how Enstone will fare for 2014 but I do think Grosjean will be a superstar of the sport.
I like Gros, he seems a humble sort of guy. Mind you, he's had a bitto be humble about I suppose.Really liking Grosjean being let off the leash recently now the team don't have to bow down to Kimi. He has had a few tough moments, but much of it was blown out of proportion by the media, more importantly he's learnt from the mistakes and has kept trying. Compare to Maldonado who seemingly doesn't give a fk or learn.
Anyway, back to the race, I just checked the result from last year, doesn't look like it will be a good race with FI given their tyre woes of late.
I wonder how the Mercs will go here and if they can stay ahead from Ferrari?
I think Sauber will still be ahead of McLaren thanks to the brilliant traction they have picked up. Quite possibly will even challenge Mercedes.

Liked Grosjean from the beginning. I think it was Frank Williams who said it is easier to tame a risky but fast driver than it is to speed up a solid, steady racer who is just lacking that last tenth or two.
Grosjean seems to be the only guy on the grid to realise how lucky he is to be part of it all.

Agree. And respect for Boullier in the way he has managed him. Grosjean seems to be the only guy on the grid to realise how lucky he is to be part of it all.
He's put pressure on him (I believe he had a three race contract at the start of the year), firmly told him that his loss of position to Kimi was 'part of the learning curve' in Korea, but more importantly stayed loyal to him after his shocking end to 2013.
I'd like to see race wins for Grosjean and for Webber before the year is out. One to sign off in style (and with Vettel safe for the championship, there's no need for a multi 12) and a win for Grosjean would give him a confidence boost - like Hakkinen at the end of 1997.
I'm excited about it. Just as excited as when I watched my first GP back in the mid 80s.
I've read the driver interviews ahead of this weekend. I cannot wait till qualifying tomorrow and the race on Sunday. I'm looking forward to seeing if Webber can challenge Vettel. And if he can't then I'm looking to see some great battles further down the field.
The track is fantastic to see the cars on. Good overtaking spots then some fantastic sweeping curves to watch them through. Those who say it's a crap circuit need to open their mind a little.
And the timing of the race means I can enjoy a slight lie-in, watch the race and then still have most of the rest of the day free. And it's live on BBC, so I can see it for free
What's not to like?
Oh and we're likely going to see someone win a 4th world title - that doesn't happen often.

I won't be watching this weekend.
End of term fatigue.
An uninspiring circuit.
This weekend, it is VLN and MotoGP/2/3 for me.
Sadly, my feelings too. Let's get the Championships done with this weekend, get the last races out of the way and look forward to, hopefully, a better year in 2014.End of term fatigue.

I predict the fewest comments on a PH F1 thread ever. Partially due to moving F1 out of the main motorsport forum - what's that about ? !
Yep, I just thought no one had bothered starting a thread on the normal popular forum. PH think they are being clever with more targeted adverts etc, the reality will be that this forum will go the same way as F1.REALIST123 said:
