I don't think anyone is going to catch Merc, but I am interested to see how the rest fair - Williams especially, with aero negated they might be in good shape for a podium?
McLaren need to stop the rot here.
Force India didn't have a very good time in China, maybe they can bounce back too.
I think compliance in the suspension is going to be really important here - if the car bounces over a bump and the back wheels spin the driver is going to be having a bad time. If the car can absorb the bumps the driver can keep the power down. Especially important this year because, as we have seen already the cars are more susceptible to wheelspin. Will not be surprised if we have a big accident or two.
I think it'll be a great race with the cars moving around a lot.
Good point about suspension compliance Crafty_...McLaren need to stop the rot here.

Lewis for the win, Nico to stack it into the barriers at T1 chasing him
Then about 40 seconds behind A Nother will finish.
You would have thought the back of grid, no real hope teams would make a pure Monaco qualifying car, with everything set up purely for one fast lap at Monaco, then make use of the fact overtaking is difficult at best round there to score useful points. Put it on pole, even back down to 10th or out of points completely would be a potential championship decider for Marussia or Caterham.

Lack of ££££s.I heard Graeme Lowdon last week saying that Marussia knew exactly what to do to make the car go faster. They just didn't have the money to develop it.

I'm going to buck the trend and say a Williams be the first past the chequered flag. After that Rosberg then Hamilton. Rb and Ferrari 4-7. I don't think Merc will have it all their own way at Monaco though so maybe just one Merc driver on podium (or whats left of it after Maldonado crashes in to it on his way to the shops the day before )
The beauty of Monaco is that it is just a total lottery (in so far as it can be with the tech/planning that the top teams have).
In the last race I'd have given a Mercedes 1-2 chances of about 80%. In Monaco I'd give it 50% at best.
Low grip, chance of rain, safety cars, barriers etc will all add up to the fact that it's just a bit of a free for all - which is why we all love it.
Not forgetting that Maldonado will be there. It remains a possibility that he'll somehow manage to crash into the moon creating a wicked high tide meaning there will be a lake as they come out of the tunnel.

I read somewhere earlier that fuel as well as engines has been important this year. Apparently Red Bull had new fuel in Barcelona which was one reason for the increase in the speed of their car. The other interesting thing is that all the Mercedes team bar one use fuel supplied by Mercedes team supplier Petrobas, the exception being McLaren whi use fuel by Mobil. This is apparently one reason they are wlower than the other Mercedes teams.
