I read somewhere earlier that fuel as well as engines has been important this year. Apparently Red Bull had new fuel in Barcelona which was one reason for the increase in the speed of their car. The other interesting thing is that all the Mercedes team bar one use fuel supplied by Mercedes team supplier Petrobas, the exception being McLaren whi use fuel by Mobil. This is apparently one reason they are wlower than the other Mercedes teams.
Read either on Grandprix.com or Pitpass if the latter it didnt appear to be a Bernie article!

Rosberg/Hamilton have contact?
And if not this race, before the summer holiday break
Oh that would spice things up nicely, though I still think this year is going to be a Vettel/Webber scenario at Merc. (Hamilton being vettel, Rosberg being Webber if that wasn't obvious). And if not this race, before the summer holiday break

Mark Webber is now disguised as Vettel which is the reason for the poor performance this year
There is an article in this months F1 magazine (F1 Racing?) by Haymarket which states that the issue for Vettel is the disappearance of the blown air diffuser. It basically says that all the times he has driven a car with a blown air diffuser he has done well, and not so well when driving one without.
This might be Maldonado's last chance in Monaco. His PDVSA funding looks to be drying up. Just seen this on GP Today.
"I know I am going to make some enemies, but there will not be another dollar for motorsport," Antonio Álvarez, Venezuela's new sports minister, explained in an interview with native daily newspaper Ultimas Noticias. "It is unfair to use state money in disciplines that do not contribute to the development of sport in this country."

I see it as Hamilton/ Rosberg first and second, but basically impossible to predict who will get the first spot as it depends on the qualifying/ first corner result. Plus the massive chance of safety car means that it could be harder for the person in front to block if they start losing the tyres (although the passing will be hard). Then Vettel, DR and Bottas for 5th. It seems Vettel is getting a bit more used to the car, and potentially the new chassis he got last week has helped too.
