Poor bloke.

Thoughts go out to his family, and all those who work at Manor Motorsport

An outcome we all dreaded, but was becoming increasingly inevitable.

Massively sad, but, I wonder whether it is in the long run preferable to the state of MS, of which we still await to hear much in the way of positive news.

A promising young life cut tragically short.

Getting points out of that Marussia is a damn greater achievement than most of us will ever do!

RIP Jules, hope you've got that Ferrari drive up there and they've fitted it with a V12, just for you.

Sad news.

Motorsport remains dangerous even though we often take it for granted that drivers will walk away from a crash.

This is such a shame. He was a massively promising driver with huge potential. Rest in peace Jules.

Happy that he is on the front page of the BBC news website this morning, as everyone should know what a talent he was.
