The orange logos on the top of the sidepods look like flames.

I quite like it.

Whatever they did that wasn't a Marlboro rip off was going to get pounded on here anyway

Looks like something you'd see airbrushed onto an old Supra.

I like it.

Lets hope they go faster stripes do actually give them 80bhp more though.

An interesting fact. The small KPMG logo near the drivers head and the slightly larger CNN logo on the front wing end plates combined bring more sponsorship money to McLaren than Martini bring to Williams for virtually branding the whole car.

You know when things have become pretty desperate, when a team has to put their own logo on the rear wing!

What next? A big 'Jenson' and 'Fernando' on the side pods...
They are a car manufacturer too...might as well advertise that in the absence of other sponsorship. Not sure why they don't just do the sidepods too frankly. Maybe when they start getting podiums we'll have another redesign biggrin

The car will still run like a bag of nails whatever the colour scheme. Whilst I feel sorry for Jenson having a rubbish car, Alonso deserves everything he gets for jumping ship like a rat when things didn't go well at Ferrari only for Vettel to enjoy Ferrari's turn in performance. Long may it continue.
Yeah, jumped ship like a rat. Only gave them 5 years to it right. No commitment, eh?

Williams have been very clever with their livery though. Yes it takes up a lot of the car for the money buts it's an evocative livery that's very much a fan favourite. Just being sponsored by Martini has gained them fans!

I actually feel sorry for FO - 5 years waiting for a great car only to leave just as Ferrari get their act together.

I don't think they have though. They were challenging for the title in Alonso's first season but never managed to follow through. They often seem to self destruct through perrenial internal political turmoil. Now they have a fast car again. They have Vettel, who is fresh and motivated and hasn't seen the Ferrari team as Alonso came to know it. They have that designer from Lotus and the car must be promising because Kimi seems motivated.

Ferrari often make big changes and start like this, but then it all collapses. The years of stability under Todt were the exception of post 1980 Ferrari, not the rule. Time will tell if Vettel gets a championship winning Ferrari in his time there, or if this year's car is the best he ever gets from them. Alonso might be regretting his move, or he might be thinking "Vettel, just you wait. You'll find out."

Interesting to hear that, probably because Ron charges the earth for the 'privilege' of sponsoring the prestigious McLaren team. I sort of see his point, but need to accept they are not the powerhouse of old at the moment.

Dear Ron, can you leave the red flow vis paint on the car, it looks loads better with the red streaks all over it. Maybe it's the blood of anyone who said the word orange to Ron's face hehe

I'm guessing McLaren may have taken the wrong car to the previous racing judging by the pace as a result of the similar colour scheme?
