traybake Claire...
confused
I can only assume it's some kind of 1960s Bernard Manning style quip suggesting she'd be better off in the kitchen. confused
I think Claire is the one of the main reasons Williams are still on the grid.

Her main responsibility is the financial side of the team, getting sponsors etc. and she seems to be doing a pretty good job of it compared to others.

I was born in London and grew up there, one side of my family are from Mile End the other from Hammersmith so I know most London slang (notice I didn't say Cockney) but I've never heard that one. wobble

I can't believe I've actually googled this, but now that I've looked it up I find that Bake=Face in Irish slang, which makes more sense, as I worked with a lot of Irish when I was in London. Still no real idea what Tray refers to.

Any woman, or man for that matter who managed to secure Martini livery (and cash) for their crisp white F1 car is a good egg.

Claire also drives Aston's which makes her x2 egg

Ah sorry chaps, been away. Its a reference to Sniffpetrol's take on her. In her appearance and the way she talks, she's the perfect epitome of a convent educated Enid Blyton type character. Not taking away anything from her commercial abilities if she did indeed ink the deal with Bacardi, though. Not to mention the Petrobras deal and poaching Sure from Lotus....
