I pay approx £12 a month for the BBC.
Yesterday I paid that for a bottle of water in a restaurant.
I think the licence fee is the best value thing on earth.
..... cue replies from techo nerds who prefer to spend their time hotwiring the internet to watch things for free and save 25p.
If you spent £12 on a bottle of water then I think you are not the person to be advising other people on how to spend their money.Yesterday I paid that for a bottle of water in a restaurant.

It's drivel like this that shows the shoddy output of the BBC these days, McLaren won every title from 1967 - 1971 did they? It's been so obvious that F1 does not fit with the BBC corporate culture for so long it's not real!

It's actually true - they just failed to mention that was in Can-Am not F1.It's drivel like this that shows the shoddy output of the BBC these days, McLaren won every title from 1967 - 1971 did they? It's been so obvious that F1 does not fit with the BBC corporate culture for so long it's not real!
Hmm - I know we aren't supposed to copy and paste but this is exactly what the article says -
"His influence between 1967 and 1971 saw McLaren win all five titles and 37 out of 43 races in the US-based CanAm sportscar series - including, in 1969, an incredible clean sweep of all 11 events".
Is that not correct?

It is now, they have changed the copy since my 1st post "His influence between 1967 and 1971 saw McLaren win all five titles and 37 out of 43 races in the US-based CanAm sportscar series - including, in 1969, an incredible clean sweep of all 11 events".
