I've just read that Renault bought the team for £1. That's not a typo.

That's incredible! I'd say they worth at least twice that.

Hope you are OK Derek. You are one of the PH posters (especially in S,P&L) that keeps me coming back to PH.

Here's to a great 2016.

in case it wasn't obvious, my comment was in good humour Derek. Best wishes for the New Year. smile
Of course. I deserved it even if it was meant as a criticism.

I went to a party last night. Seven hours either sitting down, playing childish games or trying to dance. In normal times I'd have been in severe pain this morning and yet here I am, at the computer. It is lovely.

Happy New Year to everyone. May your dreams come true.

Amitriptyline, or something spelt similarly. It is an antidepressant and also used in the treatment of epilepsy.

Still free of pain. I can't believe it.

I too stood to type on occasion, and occasionally kneeling. For a bloke who writes, it was a problem.

I hope it can work for you.
Funnily enough the doc had just put me on that for the nerve pain in my shoulder, like took me a while to cotton on that what I was feeling was the absence of the previously continual pain. Completely flattened me for about twelve hours though, I haven't slept that well in years!

Debatable whether that's a good thing or not. He struggled to run his own team around the turn of the century but then one could argue he was taking on many roles there that were out of his comfort zone. Personally i think they should make an offer to Eric Boullier, at worst it would be a sidestep for him.

PDVSA haven't paid up yet, so Maldonado might get the boot, and Kevin Magnussen in his place.

Fingers crossed hehe

That article states that Maldonado (PDVSA) owe £35m, I do hope that's for a 3 year deal at the very minimum.

Take notice of the earlier warning and be wary. My wife was prescribed them for a constant, nagging pain. (Not me I would add!)

They certainly helped her sleep but she was half asleep all the time and felt very dopy, for want of a better word. After a few days she stopped taking them. The pain hasn't yet returned to any great extent, but she'd be reluctant to go back on the amitryptyline again.

Not everyone suffers from the side effects but be wary.

What's this got to do with Renault?

I wonder what will happen to the team now if anything comes of these raids...I suppose it will take a good 6-12 months for anything to become clear anyway

Well given which direction the share price is going and how quickly it may well have an impact.

Although I've just heard through the grapevine that a press release is about to be issued to clear up the rumors about the raids.

It's all fine - no dodgy emissions issues, they just didn't comply with all the French investigation requirements.

So I expect the share price will recover tomorrow and all will be fine

Good point! I guess just that Renault can have the same effect on people as amitrypyline!

Back on topic, big recruitment drive at Enstone this week.
