Nice to see C4 seem to have listened to the complaints over the "coming up next" outros going into the ad breaks and dropped them.
Although it's only 2 weekends in, the current C4 package is working pretty well so far tbh.
Yes, it's good that they seem to have dropped the "coming up next".Although it's only 2 weekends in, the current C4 package is working pretty well so far tbh.
I don't know if it was because a lot was going on in this race but I was finding it hard to follow at some points as I thought some of the editing was poor.

Better programme than Melbourne and Billy's getting better much better....Lewis interview helped as well and it can't hurt that he's quite close to monger and one of his supporters when getting that kind of access when you haven't got the TV rights anymore.
I agee. Considring it's only his second week I thought he did really well. Actually had something to say for himself rather than just nodding and smiling. Thought the interview with George Russell was good on Sat, I don't think GR would have been quite so open with someone older.gamefreaks said:
Not sure why they’ve got a work experience kid on air either.
I really like Billy, having been a bit skeptical at first. Knowledgeable, interesting, confident. I'm sure it fking sucks to lose your legs, but it might turn out to be a blessing in disguise if he has a future in broadcasting.I did find it funny when he said how Charles showed 'maturity', which just sounds odd coming from a 19 yo, but his point was still valid.

It was hard to follow live at times, because the FOM director was so poor and Crofty so clueless.ade73 said:
Because he hasn't got any legs (CH4 love this kind of thing) and I wish he'd stop saying "I think" every bloody time he talks.
It's not "I think", it's every single bloody sentence starting with "Yeah" or "Yeah, for sure"! It drives me crazy! How can nobody from TV crew hear it and mention it to him?!And will he have to wear shorts to every race just to make sure we remember he lost his legs? Can he not just be the "young TV presenter, racing driver etc"?

I tried the sky coverage this weekend via now TV, I didn't care for it. Found the commentary way to shout and artificially excited and the over analysis of the slightest incident is painful.
Much prefer Ben Edwards, Webber, Coulthard etc... a more natural and genuinely interested team.

Couldn't agree more, it's extremely annoying to have to choose to listen to the sky team in order to watch live. I do want to watch live though so I just have to put up with it.Much prefer Ben Edwards, Webber, Coulthard etc... a more natural and genuinely interested team.
