Thanks Mr DiResta, for being the only other person who noticed the plain fact it was actually Kimi who was the instigator of T1 last race.

McLaren leaving it late in Q1, must be confident, haven't seen them do this so far this year.

How is driving towards a wall to go around a cone safer than simply going straight?

What exactly is this in response too? I'm not convinced it would have had a massive effect on the outcome of the 2 accidents I can think of, those being Bianchi and de Villota, possibly Massa's spring incident but that's a bit of a one off.
Not F1, but Justin Wilson's death last season is likely a factor.

I thought that, means when rejoining traffic you'll be going considerably slower and therefore a much greater closing speed?

This qualifying so far is just confirming my thoughts that Mercedes are a lot more dominant than the press would have us believe. In a way Ferrari's messy first races have actually flattered them because they have not been forced to have a straight h-2-h battle. This weekend it appears they will get one...... and get spanked too.

Will also be interesting to see how Nico copes with Lewis apparently having a clean weekend so far.

If Rosberg isn't WDC this season he really isn't deserving...

One of the Redbull cars there just totally blocked Raikkonen's hot lap. Could be up for penalty.
