I'm assuming Mercedes don't interfere and manage a boring 1-2.
Do you honestly think Lewis will sit behind meekly if ordered to hold station?......Flooble said:
I'm confused, if Rosberg has better race pace and gets pole, what can Hamilton do?
Hamilton gets pole and has better race pace...he controls it at the front. Rosberg gets pole and has better race pace...there's a chance that the Merc drivers will be able to fight properly. The race pace difference I saw with Rosberg yesterday was a similar margin Hamilton was showing in Silverstone to team mate. This Championship needs a strong Rosberg to make it interesting.

Well, we know LH doesn't do that sort of stuff so it will be a good challenge if NR gets ahead. I would like to see how the Merc pitwall manage that. I'm clutching at straws here, trying to see if we could have an interesting race at the front. Qualifying should give some answers.
True. If Nico's true pace is 0.3 over Lewis then this is likely to be a procession at the front. If not however.......cgt2 said:
Anthony Davidson sounds frustrated with the banal witterings of Kravitz and Croft.
WTF does the price of discount sausages have to do with F1, those two really are lowest common denominator..I'm amazed that Croft manages to keep his job.
I find myself screaming SHUT UP at the TV when Croft is waffling on about nonsense yet again. I don't find Kravitz quite as irritating but that is perhaps because he doesn't have as much air time during the sessions as Croft. If Ham gets his 3rd reprimand then Merc need to take his engine penalties now and start from the back. No point starting mid pack here then at the back somewhere else as well.
Good thinking but they would have to change the engine to get the penalty wouldn't they? They surely don't have time to do that before qualifying now? VolvoT5 said:

If Lewis gets a pen for this, whereas Nico didn't for speeding in yellows, the FIA need looking at.
But he wouldn't be getting a penalty for this, he would be getting a reprimand at worst.... unfortunately he already has 2 which does tot up to a penalty... but it is hardly the FIA's fault if he racks up 3 unnecessary reprimands is it?Anyway I don't think it will happen, as unsafe releases go it was pretty mild, not like Grosjean had to lock up the wheels and swerve or anything.

Except one of those reprimands was because he was following a marshals directions.Gassing Station | Formula 1 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
