Lewis seems to have lost a slight bit of motivation. Doesn't seem as hungry as he once was. Maybe Rosberg's retirement opened his eyes to the fact that other things in life are more important than driving around in circles.

By comparison, Vettel seems reborn now he has an outside chance.
just think rosberg and his douche bag ways have gone so the venom isn't flowing soo much through his veins

Do you not consider lapping at 2 seconds faster than the leader impressive then? Most people would!
Vettel was surely coasting at the front, especially as he needs to nurse his engines/tubos/etc.
Of course Vettel was coasting, but still impressive speed, including fastest lap of the race.

Interesting because I think Hamilton looks hungrier and more focussed than ever smile

I agree.

He has very little competition from his teammate at this moment in time and the Mercedes garage will already be looking to support Lewis fully.

Surely he will be delighted to have this situation compared to last year when his inner demons played tricks in his head.

If anyone wants to beat Lewis all they need to do is get into his head. Then he struggles as shown against Rosberg at certain events during their time together.

Is this an introductory psychiatric session or do we have to pay? hehe

When did Hamilton loose the wdc because someone 'got into his head' ?

Indeed, he was the one that got into Rosberg's head. I think we are in for a blinder of a season, Ferrari has developed a car that obviously suits Vettel, Mercedes are not miles in front anymore. Bring it on!

Mercedes stepped in to make sure.

How many times have Mercedes had to make sure Lewis is happy. His mind set when things are not 100% going his way is very poor.

Mark my words if things get fruity with Vettel and Hamilton this season it will show up again.

Didn't Merc need to step in because his teammate kept crashing into him?

No, they refused to step in as it was tit for tat. Then Lewis walked out of the team, only to return when someone told him how daft he was being.

Far more interesting than this, though, is Lewis' dazzling new barnet. Did they transplant all his armpit/pubic/bumfluff hair onto the top of his nut, or was one of the mechanics asked to lay down his follicles for the team? The mind boggles. hehe

No: your mind boggles. My mind couldn't give two hoots.

The walking out of the team part; could you expand on this.

Sorry, chum, I'd rather not. The strop is well enough documented, plus I couldn't be bothered with the hassle.

Lewis loves a team behind him. Bottas being asked to move over etc will boost him no end I bet.

Honest question - why on earth does no other driver inspire quite this level of total guessing as to what's going on in their lives and in their heads......I suppose that's why he is marketing dynamite.

Has Lewis ever let another driver past him when asked by the team?

I know that Rosberg and Bottas have done it, when asked by Merc. Lewis has referred to both as a 'Gentleman' for doing so but I don't remember him doing it, and I'm sure he's been asked.
